All we know is hanako killed someone but not why he killed someone. We know how but not why he killed someone
Sorry it took so long for me to answer! I forgot to check my inbox when I finally have the time.
Yes you're right. Many people speculate that Amane killed Tsukasa out of spite - because he constantly abused him - but we never really know. Just like @italiantea said, we have too many holes waiting to be filled; we can't make the most accurate deduction with so many missing puzzles.
The most questionable puzzle is Amane's determination to stay.
We don't know why he said that or when did this happen - whether it's before or after he killed Tsukasa - because it would change the whole game.
- Why did he say that?
Aside from the going-to-the-moon incident, something must've happen beforehand that makes him able to choose that path. Maybe he encountered the previous Hanako-san (it'd be possible if he had strong sixth sense), maybe he had a connection with God, who knows.
- When did this happen?
If this happened after he killed Tsukasa, there's a chance that the murder is an accident; Amane regretted his action so he decided to atone it by killing himself and staying in this world. But if it happened before the murder, there's a chance that he planned to stay with his brother from the start, with whatever reason we're not aware of.
Like maybe he planned to kill both of them so they can be together forever in this world or shit like that. Just kidding! ... or not?
I know it's really risky to make any theory when we have too many holes, but I can't help but enjoy guessing every possible scenarios until AidaIro gives us the answer; so it won't stop myself from making theories 'cause it's been really fun! 😄
YUGI TWINS ARE OPEN FOR INTERACTION 👻

Keep in mind though, we don't actually know the difference between HC and scenario, and it will be either hanako, tsukasa or maybe both doing all of this, so don't take anything too seriously!
Colour codes!
Hanako will answer in red ! Like so!
And Tsukasa is purple! Hehe!
! We are up to date with the manga !
We look forward to playing with you!
i love your theory about naming the yugi twins.!! it makes so much sense, the connections are uncanny. also, at the end of your post, you mentioned part of the lore that tsukoyomi killed that's why amaterasu split away with him. in contrast to the yugi twins, i think there's an important someone tsukasa killed leading to amane killing him? (tho i still think amane accidentally killed tsukasa).
Hey, anon! I'm so glad you liked the theory.💖
In the original Japanese legend, Tsukuyomi killed the goddess of food, Uke-mochi, simply because he was disgusted at how she "made" the food she served them, and this made Amaterasu angry.
While this isn't the case for the Yugi Twins, there may be a similar context. There may have been someone else involved when Amane killed Tsukasa, which is most probably going to be Nene, as she's already traveled to the past twice. (This is just a guess, though it's possible.)
Also, it could be likely that Tsukasa was killed accidentally. It definitely wasn't Amane's intention to kill him as far as we know.
I've heard of a theory which says Nene is the one who traveled to the past to stop Amane from killing Tsukasa, but then something bad happened to her, which caused Amane's fate to change in the first place. If this does come true, it's gonna be devastating.
And it's just a hunch, but I think "splitting away from each other" in the context of the Yugi Twins could mean something like:
(a) How Hanako and Tsukasa now oppose each other in terms of morals
(b) How Amane's fate changed and Tsukasa's stayed the same.
I hope this answer helps! Thank you for the ask.
Does tsukasa hate hanako?
Hi anons! I'm gonna answer you guys at the same time because both questions are related.
I already explain it in my Tsukasa's Personality analysis, but if want a quick answer; No. Tsukasa doesn't hate Amane, assuming he's 100% brutally honest throughout the manga. In fact he loves his brother so much, in his own twisted way ofc. If he hates him, he won't glomp on him like he did to Sakura. He's a psycho but he's also childish. You can go to that link above for more explanation.
As to question #2, I mentioned in that analysis that Tsukasa likes people who let loose, as if their inner demon control their body. He provokes Nene to kill Hanako because he would like to see her broke down when she tried to kill Amane. In short, he just likes it when people at their lowest.
Hope this answer your questions!
end of volume 4 chapter 20 of the photo of the main characters parents, Nene’s parents are dead why I think that is that their faces are scrached out in the photo the same is with tsukasa and his photo with Hanako
You mean this pic?
If I recall, the manga hasn't mentioned anything about Nene's parents so I have no idea why they're gone. It's clear from ch 36 that she lives alone though. From the pic above, it could be that they're dead (death from car accident seems likely) or maybe they simply always gone to work, so they haven't seen Nene's growth since middle school.
Whichever it is, I bet they're a loving parents for being able to raise her as she is now.
why did tsukasa ask nene if she and Hanako are dating?
Wouldn't you be excited when your beloved brother suddenly had a girlfriend? :D
Lol but jokes aside, Nene is Hanako's assistant and they are opposite sex so who wouldn't be curious about their relationship? Especially Tsukasa who hadn't met Amane for so long. It could be that:
He's jealous that his brother has another person he cares so much apart from himself
He's simply curious about their relationship, like, a childish curiosity
He wants to reconfirm their closeness so he can formulate a better plan to mess with them
I don't know Anon, I still can't quite grasp that troublesome personality of his. Maybe anyone has a better idea?
