Very late with my July spread.. Trying a different layout this month and ditching the task list, which I'm just gonna have on my trello as I found myself forgetting to tick off in my bujo as I did them.

Strawberry theme chosen as I got some strawberry washi and stickers for my birthday and thought they would be fitting for a July theme.

Here’s my July page that I forgot to post at the beginning of the month, I’m so happy it’s shark week! So I decided for a nautical sunny theme with blues and yellows since I love that color combo.

Happy wrath month! (That's how it works, right?)

This spread was inspired by these petals, which I picked up on a botanical garden while devirtualizing friends (<3). The past month was quite busy for me, I moved back to Germany, finished (finally!) all my winter semester requirements and I'm finally, slowly stepping back into the lab, which is super relieving.

I'll try to stick with @myhoneststudyblr 's Summer studying challenge, at least for July :) hopefully I'll have enough time to create more original content.

July 1st: what are your plans for this summer?

I plan on staying in Germany for the whole of July. I'm not too busy for the first two weeks, so I'll take this time to travel and visit friends. Then I have a practical for the last two weeks. In August, I will go to the Pyrenees for a week for a cycling concentration with my triathlon team, and then I plan on going back to Spain, hopefully for the whole month (and September, if everything works out).

a bit of my journal week two spread!

the first 3 days of this week has been just a waterfall of creative ideas. things like the game "life is strange", the bts mv & song analysis videos i've been binge watching and the sudden urge to read hermann hesse's "demian". (okay that last bit is still related to bts, rm chose a good one to base their songs on okay-) my brain is all overr the place but in a good way.

Making bullet journal spreads is not as effective for relaxing as it used to be, but it’s still fun. I was usually stressing about what theme to pick each month.  But thanks to this bookmark calendar that I got from Laura, now I just pick whatever illustration is in the calendar for that month. Flamingos? Oki doki 🦩🦩🦩🦩

now that we’re in the second half of 2020, i decided to revisit the new year resolutions i made in the beginning. i haven’t achieved a lot of them, so i reworked them and set goals for the remaining months of 2020 to be able to achieve them, or at least be closer to achieving them than i am right now. my main thing, though, is to make sure to keep them calm and fun. hard work and discipline is important but i figured out if i make these feel like a chore, i won’t achieve them at all. do you have any mid-year resolutions, or just little goals you want to achieve for july??

First and foremost: I watched the Euro 2020 final, and I hope Black and female English folks who see this are safe. England has terrible stats on domestic violence due to soccer/football losses and a few Black players missed penalty kicks, which is sparking racial abuse already.

Anyway, here is my July spread: it’s pretty minimal. I just had a random idea to draw a plan diamond and then added the orange lines to it. Same for the text. I thought it would pop w/ the color shadow.

the weather today has been absolutely wonderful :') day dampened only slightly by receiving math exam results (my heart almost beat out of my chest) but thankfully my mark was okay !
