The god of thunder isn’t an easy king to deal with. Everyone in Olympus swings between fearing him and respecting him, since he’s a strong-willed man with a terrible temper. The reason? Jupiter Summanus/Summanus

Roman Mythology: Summanus is the God of Nocturnal lightning. His origins are unclear but some believe he was a native Etruscan deity. Pliny indicated he was one of nine thunder/lightning Gods. He was sometimes depicted as the counterpart to Jupiter who was God of diurnal lightning. Others use the epithet Jupiter Summanus to clarify his nocturnal aspects. He is celebrated on June 20th according to the Roman Calendar.
