You know, I like this! And I can see it happening. However, only if something happened to their parents that they want to prevent happening to alternate versions of them. Then you get true determination to protect, and a reason to keeping doing so.

And for some angst: Pj and Gradient always keep a distance between them and their parents alternatives because they can't bear the thought of talking to them and them not knowing who they are.
