I don't even know where to begin. In the last 6mths my life has been a complete whirlwind. So many things to be all kinds of emotions with, negatives and positives in all kinds of forms, just life, mentally hitting me hard AF! 😪 But I didn't fall. I didn't quit. I learned and learned and learned again, and again. Through the tears of me not meeting my goals, through the doubts I created towards my abilities, I just didn't let my mind win. I let my heart heal. I found confidence in myself. I started another adventure to see my goals to fruition, I learned how to not fear and let this path be. I am so thankful for today, I found a piece of myself I thought I lost. Thank you for this life. What a world of difference ending a year can make. I am so grateful for ending our season on a healthier note all around. Being a coach to these young ladies has been such a privilege, they inspire me to be a healthier version of myself, I want to be able to physically work with them, and keep up with the rapid dynamics of being a cheer coach. My health last year held me back physically, but as I reflect on the end of our season, I am so happy to be able to keep up with their spirit. So many blessings to carry-on into the next year, I look forward to seeing what unfolds in our 21-22 season, personally and as a team! Happy one year to MEEEE😁 I am celebrating that I have kept the weight off and continued to loose through a pandemic, holidays, family turmoil and loss of a loved one. I have restarted program three times in the last year, this week being back on program helped me to lose 11lbs in 7 days! I weighed 201lbs last week, and this week, I hit my 2nd weight goal of 190lbs. There have been sooooo many reasons why I couldn’t pull my mindset out of the emotional eating. I eat my feelings, not drink, do drugs or smoke cigarettes. The stress of life crept back in. So happy I didn't give into the excuses like the past and choosing NOT to mentally stay in that negative space. That's what is so beautiful about this structured lifestyle, it does really create a life where you can deal with the highs and lows of life, and NOT lose the direction to a healthier version of YOURSELF! I promised myself that I will see the 190lbs by my 1yr weight-loss anniversary. Today I smile big for this accomplishment. Beyond happy on not giving up on ME, for once. This is life for......now, but not forever. This year doesn't mirror like anything I've ever experienced before. It brought life to our family. It brought love to our souls. It brought us together. It saved others from harm. It awakened a part of us I didn't know existed. 2020, I'm sorry if this year was terrible for so many people. I selfishly have to be appreciative of this year. Even though lives are torn to pieces all over the world, 2020 is NOT the worst experienced I've ever lived. It brought my family together that life normally keeps apart. Goodbye 2020, thank you for giving me the opportunity to experience what I have been missing for too many years, thank you for showing me that love exists in many forms and allowed me the space to grow. I leave this year looking at the positives of this year. 2020, has shown to many negatives exists, and I am choosing to negate them so they will remain in 2020!
