this is the best one i’ve made in a minute!
IT’S KALE SHAKE TIME MAMA,
three kale leaves (ribs removed), heaping handful of spinach, 2 rainbow chard leaves (half rib removed), heaping handful of power greens mix (baby spinach, baby kale, one other), a celery stalk, cilantro (about 6-8 stalks), juice of 1/2 lemon, 1 tbsp coconut oil, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 3 skinny carrots (sub for 1 large one), 1 banana, 2/5 (basically 1/3 to 1/2) of a cored pineapple

my mouth isn’t used to the acidity from the citrus cause i’ve been on a no citrus diet the last three weeks. today’s first day of poppin’ that cherry and got DAMN. i’ve had three cups now and can’t stop drinking it.
fabulous smooth energy. i woke up groggy today and this has totally counteracted it.
it fills my blender about 2/3 full.
you can easily cut these portions in half to make a personal serving.
tomorrow’s i’m gonna experiment w/ ginger & HOPEFULLY i can find some DAMN seeded grapes. everyone sells seedless! BITCH the nutrients are IN THE SEED. typical american hooplah
buy organic if you can of course. it’s super easy to lie on the important ones that you’re bagging if you do self checkouts. broccoli, kale, anything that looks like a lot of pesticides could be trapped within.
no matter what - do an apple cider vinegar soak for all veg. put into large bowl (no need to chop depending on your blender). add 2 tbsp ACV (i just pour two big swigs) ((there’s a more technical term for this... alas. escapado me.))
soak for 10 min. put greens on plate. rinse bowl thoroughly. add greens back to bowl. rinse thoroughly. DONE. you can prep large amounts of vegg easily this way and put them back in the fridge. shake ‘em good. good to go. sometimes i’ll do this right after i come home from the store and after i’ve put away the rest of my shit, they’re done!
