Kambaba Jasper, the charismatic fusion of Black

Star Sapphire and Zoisite! Just a jolly ole guy who wishes

He's a fusion that has some of the most planning out for his concept... I know sapphire and zoisite wouldn't get along too too well, so their fusion I feel should encapsulate that. As well as Show their 'nice on the outside but a BITCH ON THE INSIDE' dynamic in character. So, enjoy :)

Kambaba jasper and crocodile jasper are trade names for a greenish rhyolitic (volcanic) rock found in the west-central Bongolava region of Madagascar. It is full of blackish orbs consisting of small Amphibole needles that some people say resemble amphibian eyes, hence the name "crocodile jasper". 

There is a common misconception that Kambaba Jasper is a stromatolite.  This is probably due to it’s appearance resembling some oncolites (basically stromatolites).  Thin-film and x-ray analysis done on the stone by GTI (Germany’s gemstone testing institute) shows it’s actually of volcanic origin.  Several minerals which make up it’s structure do not form in sedimentary rocks.

I'd like to take a minute to talk about "Kambaba Jasper." Though popularly referred to as a #jasper in trade and in metaphysical circles, this stone is not a jasper at all! It is a green variety of #stromatolite, which is a fossil record of colonies of algae and bacteria.
