A tasty sandwich with potato and kamut flour crusts that tastes like pizza and is stuffed with marinara sauce and melted cheese.
Ingredients: 200g kamut flour. 2 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed. 1 tsp dried oregano. 1/2 tsp garlic powder. 1/2 tsp onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/2 cup marinara sauce. 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 4 slices of bread. 2 tbsp olive oil.
Instructions: Mix mashed potatoes, dried oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl until everything is well mixed. Cut the dough into 4 equal pieces, and then flatten each piece into a thin, round shape that looks like pizza crust. Set a pan on medium heat and add the olive oil. Put the dough rounds in the pan and cook them for two to three minutes on each side, until they are golden and done. Put marinara sauce on two of the rounds of cooked dough. Put some grated Parmesan and mozzarella cheese on top of the marinara sauce. Add the rest of the cooked dough rounds on top to make sandwiches. For another two to three minutes on each side, cook the sandwiches in the pan until the cheese melts and the sandwiches are warm all the way through. Take it out of the pan and let it cool down a bit before serving. Cut each sandwich in half and serve hot.
