Guess how much time you can waste talking about an absent father and all the unnecessary things about him? YEARS!!! This can go on from your pregnancy or the time of the birth of your baby- potentially until their adult years if you don't take control of it. None of the gossip is worth it (no decent human cares what a deadbeat dad is wearing) and the chatter only results in stress- because whatever he is wearing or is not doing for your child -you physically don't have the power to change it. So don't entertain anything about him and don't allow your kids to miss out on quality time with you because you're gossiping about someone who doesn't care about them!
