The rise and fall of Kate Kane / Renee Montoya (Batwoman / Question) relationship

After witnessing the death of her mother and sister, Kate dedicated her life to the military, however she was forced to leave the service under "don't ask, don't tell" homophobic policy. This had a huge impact on her life, leaving her was aimless, lost – that's when she found Renee.

That was before either of them had found a career as vigilantes, before the masks. At the time Montoya was closeted and actively working for the GCPD.

Renee was unhappy with Kate's lack of compromise with anything, on the other hand Kate had complicated feelings about Renee's double life. Things quickly fell apart from there.

Duke Thomas: resembles the dark-skinned Black man on the right. He eventually becomes more independent of BatFam as he continues as "The Signal". He has mature masculinity yet doesn't take crap from his arch-nemesis. He mainly defeats his arch-nemesis through defense and stealth (though there are few occasions where the Tamaran OC will win through power). Duke is bisexual.
