kankuro and sakura are the team's physiotherapist and fitness trainer, respectively.

i had already decided their roles as physio&trainer but what i didn't intend for was them being an older married couple. it felt right to keep it that way so fuck it we (base)ball

kankuro has the disposition of a disappointed but concerned father, and the whole team is scared of sakura. she is like a drill sergeant in the gym and watches everyone's form and workouts like a hawk.

naruto has adopted them as his parents. sakura babies sasuke to knock him down a peg or two when he's being especially haughty. the team finds it funny but they have to hide their snickering or else sakura will eat them alive.

kankuro is responsible for recovery, massages, acupuncturing, etc. sakura, their workouts and food regimen, keeping careful track of their macros and such (she makes absolutely disgusting food but it's high in nutrition (the team dread her meal plans)).

they have been trainers for professional sports teams for a couple of decades and are highly respected in their positions.

Kankuro and Sakura was one of my first ships, and Naruto was my first real fandom.

Coming back to these two always feels like coming home

To give a quick rundown of the Next Gen Au.

We passionately hate most of Boruto lol, so we decided to make our own next gen au.

(Essentially Naruto and Gaara are intersex, due to their bijus.)

Naruto had a kid with Sasuke - more about that here And then believed Sasuke to be dead. In that time, he got together with Hinata and they had a child as well. So it's kind of SasuNaruHina - with their kids Menma and Nori.

Shikamaru and Temari are married and they got Shikadai♥ Honestly, Shikadai was about the only thing I liked about Boruto haha

Choji and Karui are married and have Choko.

Sakura and Kankuro are married, together they got their daughter Chiyo. Though Sasuke also had a daughter with Karin. Sorano, the child, was adopted by Sakura because Karin was emotionally not fit to raise the child and since it was Sasukes she decided to raise her.

Gaara and Lee are a somewhat inofficial thing, because of politics they have it a bit more complicated. Still they ended up with a kid, Kaneko, who's got basically no connection to Gaara. 🤕 Gaara still found and adopted Shinki.

Ino and Sai got Inojin, although not yet designed like that, they also have a second child Inoichi.

NEJI SURVIVED!!!!! Neji and Tenten had the rockiest of relationships and luckily managed to marry which the Hyuuga Clan hated, but had to accept if they didn't want to off Neji. They had twins, Satomi & Satoshi. One of them carries the same seal as Neji. More to them here.

We're also bringing Itachi back, because I just want to see him find peace tbh :(

This AU is entirely self-indulgent haha.

I think that sums the designs up pretty much. I added some closeups of characters that carry more than just the clothes.

(omg i also remembered that Kakashi's got a kid too lmao, but I haven't drawn him in that file - so just take my word for it)

Pretty sure it’s the art for one of the future chapters of my fanfic (I really hope to translate it to Eng once I’m finished). Tsunade takes Sakura as Konoha’s brightest medic to one of the pre-war Sammits as all the Kages bring the best ones so all the medics will set some unified standards for emergency aid in the field and etc.

Kankuro has only a few minutes to see her personally. Sakura’s cheeks are slightly pink because of the weather, but Kankuro’s are slightly red from pure excitement to just see her. She’s passionate in telling him something about her medical routine and he’s just… He’s so so in love.

I mean just look at the way he looks at her. I’m crying.

After much deliberation—here are five of my favorite fics plus honorable mentions because anyone who knows me knows I hate deciding 😂

1. Red Ribbon of Fate—T, Shisaku, complete, “Shisui and Sakura's love story begins with a red ribbon.”

This one I had so much fun writing because it was just based off the silly idea that Shisui’s hair gets too long, and he holds his hair back from his eyes with a red ribbon. This idea was formed in the Sakura Haruno server, and it just was so sweet and I loved every second of it 🥰

2. Stealing His Shirt Has Never Felt So Good—E, KankuSaku, complete, “Sakura keeps her boyfriend's shirt before he leaves to train. Boyfriend comes back, she's a bit of a brat, and he punishes her with a ton of orgasms.”

I have no explanation for this fic except for the fact that I saw some amazing horny art of Kankuro, proceeded to obsess over said art and write this fic for 9 months, and well, yeah. Here we are 😂

3. Not Yet—E, KakaSaku complete, “Sakura appreciates Kakashi wanting to properly woo her, but they’re together. She’s tired of waiting. And now, she’s going to go get her man to fuck her.”

This was actually my first smut I wrote for KakaSaku, and I remember writing this and screaming as I wrote because it was so filthy. But it was a good time, and damn, I need to write more of them agains soon 👀

4. fantasies can come true—E, AsuIno, complete, “Ino successfully seduces her former teacher, and she may be in for more than she bargained for, not that she'd ever complain.”

I’d been telling myself forever that I’d write a fic for these two, and then I finally did it, and it was so fun! Definitely am going to write more for them, and also the other ships for Ino I recently realized were super fun 🥰

5. oh captain—E, ShiSaku, complete, “Sakura and Shisui avoid their duties aboard ship to have a little rendezvous below deck.”

This is one of my more recent ShiSaku fics i did for ShiSaku week in June this year, and I had so much fun with the prompt, because it was pirates and of course I had to make it sexy. I also just really loved every other prompt I did for the week (I did one for every day bc I am crazy), and I just love writing this pair so much 🥹🥰
