ITS FUNNY HOW BITCHES TURN INTO MY FANS.
Fuck you, two can play at this game! If everyone else can disrespect our country, I can damn well disrespect their “movement”.
So, with all due respect, FUCK YOU Colin Kaepernick.
Kap-italizing on the moment
American athlete quietly and reverently kneels during National anthem exercising his civil right to protest the failures of the American police in their abuses of power which resulted in the deaths of unarmed American citizens.
Is this enough simplification?
Day 10, in Minneapolis A city mourned the murder of George Floyd (say his name), prayer and reflection, tears and profound sadness. Mostly peaceful protests WORLDWIDE, because this is about more than a singular government sanctioned murder. Disappointment reigns supreme as true colors are displayed like a peacock's tail with all the colors of the rainbow. The silence of some seems complicit while the comments of others is profoundly surprising! The truth shall set you free they say......when someone shows their true colors give them a coloring book not your time. Cutting them loose can be cathartic; An experience becoming prevalent.
There are those that want this outrage to go away, why do they have to post so much, we know, this is just an example of a small percentage of officers, it doesn't apply to me, it's not all of us; even though the world watched as an American citizen cried for his mother while he took his last breath. Is this your definition of greatness? For some, greatness is a relative term, but isn't that privilege?
We are being challenged as humans to GET out of our comfort zones and fix this travesty of justice . If peaceful protests make you uncomfortable, you won't wear NIKE, you protest the NFL and vilify a player, if comments made during precious award ceremonies disturbed you, if you RAGED at Beyonce's words and can't understand why people need to remind the country that black lives matter too, perhaps you are on the wrong side of history and really don't care about your black, brown and tan friends. [ clearly the notion of peaceful protest is just a charade ]
Crucial conversations are starting, they are not easy, yet eye opening. A commonality of purpose and humanity is the theme. We must not forget, we must not become complacent, things must change. Stay in power and protest!
