Zahra and Kashaw for the sleeping habits thing?

Ooo I hadn’t thought about them too deeply, so this’ll be a super fun excercise!! :)

Who is a night owl: Zahra. Honestly, Zahra’s at her fullest power beneath the moonlight, and it’s when she gets a lot of her work done.

Who is a morning person: Neither of them. Kash sleeps long and deep, and Zahra doesn’t usually get to sleep until late. They don’t usually start their day until noon.

Are they cuddlers: They cuddle a bit, but they’re really more into the casual touch. Zahra lays her head on Kash’s shoulder a lot, and they often find their hands intertwined.

Who is the big spoon and who is the little spoon: Kash is usually the big spoon, but Zahra is happy to switch when he needs her to.

What is their favourite sleeping position: Laying on their sides, facing each other, foreheads touching. They like to be able to see each other, to make sure the other person is still safe and alive and there. They both have dangerous pasts and are always in fear of their love being hurt or taken away.

Who steals all the blankets: Kash is definitely a blanket stealer. He lived with threadbare soldier’s blankets for far too long, and his body instinctively grabs for the warmth.

What they wear to bed: Zahra wears silk pajamas and a big fluffy robe. Kash just wears pajama pants with the occasional t-shirt.

Who likes seeing the other wearing their t-shirt: Kash isn’t quite big enough for Zahra to wear his shirts, but she does sometimes anyway and it always makes him smile.

Who falls asleep mid-conversation: Zahra, no question. Her default state is tired, and she yawns basically non-stop.

Who wakes up in the middle of the night with nightmares: Both of them, but Kash more often than Zahra. He still dreams of Vesh and she uses his dreams as a way of haunting him. He also has occasional bouts of PTSD from his time as a soldier which manifest through his nightmares. Zahra always holds him until he can fall back asleep.

Who accidentally punched the other in their sleep: Kash is a very violent sleeper. He flails and kicks and throws off the blanket and Zahra is pretty resigned to it.

Who can’t keep their hands to themself: Oh, Kash doesn’t know the meaning of keeping his hands to himself, but Zahra isn’t complaining. And she’s pretty good at keeping her hands in check, but her tail on the other hand…

I really do love that kash and zahra have made vassleheim their home like. they live there they’ve got friends and day jobs and probably a place together. they do dumb shit like go grocery shopping and lillith comes over for sunday lunch. they’re like. semi-retired not-quite-adventurers. they’re gonna raise their kid in the city that they saved. they’re getting a real life with the two of them and vesh and zahra’s lunar patron and the baby. a lovely sweet family of five. what could go wrong
