Utopia is the second of two self-titled albums by the rock group Utopia (the other being Todd Rundgren's Utopia). It was released in 1982. It was also their only album for Network Records. This double ‘not a gatefold’ album is catalog # 60183, with the extra disc having the same tracks on each side. “The original vinyl LP was released as a three-sided set of two 12" discs - the third side including five additional songs. It was then released as a single LP with the five additional songs on the included two-sided EP. “Adventures in Utopia” is the fourth studio album by Utopia. This is a gatefold album on Bearsville Records - BRK 6991, released Dec. 27, 1979. Mixing their earlier progressive rock style with mainstream rock, pop and disco music, “Adventures in Utopia” achieved success both with the band's established fan base and wider commercial success, with the track "Set Me Free" released as a single. "Umbrella Man" was its B-side. Caught #ToddRundgren and #Utopia at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe, PA last Wednesday for their first show in decades. Great fun! Thanks @KasimSulton for great seats! Check out Todd playing legendary guitar “The Fool” formally owned by #EricClapton. Hung with bassist #GregSmith and had a few moments to exchange pleasantries with our friend and colleague Kas backstage after the show. After leaving, Greg mysteriously disappeared and apparently found Todd’s dressing room ... hence, the rockstar selfie. Ya got balls, Greg.
