I realised I've never drawn Durga as four-armed Katyayani. So here She is:

(Yes, I'm aware Katyayani is actually depicted holding different astras. But I figured these would look good on Her)

Durga/Katyayani's full sequence of srishti, sringar and ostrodan has to count as a magical girl transformation scene, right?

Wait like those Mahalaya ones where the forming of Durga is shown in details with each Devta's aspects being added and then the weapons being given one by one

Yeah it would look cool like a magic girl one, sailor moon style or shinchan's magical girl

And maybe her weapon could have a more Ironman's armour vibe or Thor's hammer

Day 6 : Katyayani

On the sixth day of Navratri 2022, we worship Maa Katyayani - the sixth form of the Goddess Durga. Katyayani, also known as Mahishasurmardini, according to ancient texts, was created from the combined energies of the gods Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva to kill the demon Mahishasur.

Katyayani (कात्यायनी) is one of the avtars of The Hindu Mother Goddess, Durga. She is seen as the slayer of the tyrannical demon Mahishasura. She is also the sixth form amongst Navadurga or the nine forms of Hindu goddess Durga (Parvati), worshipped during the Navratri celebrations.
