I fear I've stepped into ship territory with these two. They both admire each other in so many ways and that's not even speculation. I mean look at them. They're soft and I can't handle it.

I'm also in love with the idea that the ship is built of multiple queerplatonic relationships, these two being one of them. Learning from each other, trying to avoid thinking of the little things that went missing after Haven and Miranda.

I could write essays on the gentleness and necessity of their relationship. The way it's mentioned in Serenity(2005) truly gives us a look into how the entire ship runs.

They all know that that's actually quite the appropriate statement, of course Kaylee would miss her. Hence the actual disappointment. They're not laughing, they're as close to face palming as you can get without the face/palm part.
