Bella is married understood. But I don't know how either of you can both just watch the woman you love and the woman you take ownership over with another man and not feel rage.

I cannot speak for Rodolphus, of course, but rage is not what I feel in the slightest. I suppose I feel something... though I cannot place it, nor have I stopped to consider. Regret, possibly, that she had already been married when I found her? But no...that is not right. I am not one to desire a marriage, so it is not like I would have married her in that case. Indeed, it was easier for me to have her, as she was already wed and would not be looking for that kind of commitment from me. 

The only word I can think of is unsettled, but it seems wrong, as well.

Monster Bingo?

Continuing the theme of appropriating from minority groups, Simon is creating a Simon Alkenmayer Bingo Card.  

Minority Bingo cards aren’t made for allies.  They’re made for people who are being discriminated against as a way of bonding over the microaggressions they have to put up with every day, and to know they aren’t alone.  So why is Simon making his bingo card available to his followers?  None of them are monsters, and none of them are experiencing the “discrimination” he alleges he’s experiencing.

Also, Simon isn’t experiencing microaggressions.  He’s being held accountable for acting like an arsehole.  

There’s also nothing actually discriminatory on Simon’s list of potential squares aside from possibly “you don’t deserve rights”, and “you’re a murderer” which he says he is.
