Day Two

So I had knee surgery, ACL reconstruction, yesterday and boy do I hurt today. I feel awful making my boyfriend get everything for me but I can barely sit up and rearrange my leg let alone get up and get things on my own. I’m a really independent person so its hard to not be able to do stuff for myself. I’m so grateful for my man and all his love and support through this. People tell me to enjoy being waited on but I can’t. Its not being waiting on, its someone taking care of me because I can’t do it myself. When you could do it and someone does something for you it’s nice but its frustrating when you can’t be independent. 

I know today is supposed to be the worst and I hope that’s the case. I’m worried about having to leave the house tomorrow and go to PT. I just hope its better tomorrow. I literally woke up this morning feeling like my leg was on fire. Ugh. Trying to keep my spirits up and stay positive though. My dog, Remi, and cat, Pheebs, have been keeping me company, they seem to know right when I need some cuddles. <3
