Her parents are still alive and have been questioned by the FBI for her whereabouts. Seeing as how they gave up so much information, it’s likely that they don’t care much for Sydney

Her arm tattoos are jam-packed filled with images of various weapons, Australian symbolism, and flowers, some of which being Stargazer lilies. These flowers symbolize ambition, optimism, and the desire to reach for the stars
Seeing as how her mask design is in these tattoos, it's likely Sydney got them to commemorate her joining the Payday Gang
Sydney has many voice lines talking about justifying her place in the gang, she seems to respect the heisters greatly and wants to prove her worth to them

Sydney designs custom masks for everyone in the gang, and might have had a hand in crafting the masks of the heisters who've joined after her

This was a fun learning experience! I had no idea of Sydney's lore for joining the gang lol, it's almost like a Mary Sue story
