The look of indignation that crossed Lux’s face was comical considering she was the one doing something illegal. “I’m not stealing anything!” Her tiny foot stomp followed by her hands going to her hips was amusing to say the least. “It’s not the owners mouse either! It’s a magically enchanted mouse that has a piece of paper that I need and it needs to be caught! Wayward spells and all that.” She waved a hand with a small huff. Honestly, how rude, to think she’d be stealing anything! What did she look like? A common thief?
“Look, I’ll explain later, but for right now we have to catch that mouse!” Lux pointed down the hallway where the mouse had scampered around a corner. Really one would think at least once she’d be sent someone that could feel enchantments the same was she could, just once.
