“Move to Thrive” interest-free loans offer support to LGBTQ+ families navigating moving costs.
Interest-free loans of up to $10,000 to individuals and families to support the cost of moving to another state due to the threat that recently-passed anti-LGBTQ+ legislation in their current state of residence poses to their or their family’s safety and well-being.
Keshet and the Hebrew Free Loan Society have disbursed more than $270,000 in loans for LGBTQ people fleeing hostile political climates.
Before some of you start yelling about this being Jews only looking out for Jews, read the damn article and you’ll see that it’s for EVERYONE who feels unsafe in their home state, regardless of religion.

Have annual household income sufficient to support loan repayment, and no higher than the HFLS income limits.
Have an active checking account.
Provide one guarantor who meets the two requirements above.
Initial funding for this program is provided by the Jewish LGBTQ Donor Network.
I commissioned my lovely friend Sorren (who asked me not to link his socials) a while back to do this piece of Keshet for me, and I’m so blown away by how it turned out!! He looks so handsome and menacing, he’s perfect!
Happy birthday Keshet, here’s to another year of silly lizard shenanigans 💙
