Do what's best for you
Over the past year I have gained some weight and not been able to lose it because I let other things take me off the path that had me doing so well.
Last year I began doing the Katy's challenges (last fall, spring & summer) all which were a complete fail. I gained from them despite people who have done completely well and been so successful.
I added more carbs to my diet even though I was unable to complete the full workouts which used a lot of weights.
Last year I counted calories used some weights and did mostly cardio and body weight workouts with a trainer. ..which I enjoy, and that worked for me. I lost 25 pounds I was in a good place. I let these challenges change my motives which ended up to be a waste for me.
My point of this post is to let you know is that you don’t have to fix what isn’t broken. I had a good plan & today I decided to go back to that’s 1440 calories making sure to still eat clean and treat myself here and there and not worry about macros! It’s stressful and time consuming something I’m just no longer interested in.
