Ingredients: 1 lb ground turkey. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup diced red onion. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 egg. 1 tsp cayenne pepper. 1/2 tsp paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. Lettuce, tomato, and other toppings of your choice. Sliced pepper jack cheese optional.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, diced red onion, minced garlic, egg, cayenne pepper, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix the ingredients until well combined. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat. Place the turkey patties on the grill or pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side or until they are cooked through and have a nice char. If desired, add a slice of pepper jack cheese to each patty during the last minute of cooking. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned. Assemble your burgers by placing lettuce, tomato, and other toppings of your choice on the toasted buns. Place the spicy turkey patties on top of the toppings, and top with the other half of the bun. Serve your spicy turkey burgers hot and enjoy!
