day 111
I really am at a loss as to what Kid Win was supposed to start calling himself once he graduated to the Protectorate. Glory Girl also has this problem to an extent, but due to the oft-discussed sexist double standards surrounding female superheroes she actually could have just kept going by "Girl" into her twenties, in the vein of Power Girl, Squirrel Girl, and so on. Alliteration would fully be on her side, too. It wouldn't be great but it'd be somewhat defensible. But Kid Win would just be absolutely fucked. No usable "aged up" version of his existing handle. He'd need a total rebrand. What were they thinking
Apparently I forgot to post a Kid Win doodle I did like a month ago
Taylor with the Wards
Taylor *holding a big spider she found in the room, using her own unprotected fingers to examine the health of its fangs*
Clockblocker: Holy shit! This is too dangerous! Where are the parents to come get this spider?
Vista: I used to be scared of bugs, now I'm scared of Taylor
Kid Win: Armsmaster sleeps Taylor under the pillow, in case he needs to defend himself
Flechette: The spider must be so confused, she never got to this part
Shadow Stalker: The cockroaches are the ones scared to see Skitter flying
Weld: Skitter, please don't bite the spider
who would win between kid win vs chase davenport
kid win
chase
One of the most painful parts of Worm for me is when my brain just. Latches onto a single appearance for a character, and experiences thousands of years of agony when it is proven wrong in canon or not seen in fanart
Aside from me always thinking Armsmaster/Colin was black, the biggest one is Kid Win.
For some unknown reason, my brain instantly decided Kid Win looked like a younger version of Driver from the manhwa Villain To Kill. I've read so, so, so many passages describing his actual armor, and seen all the accurate fanart, but I cannot stop myself. That is just Kid Win to me forever.
Pictures of Driver below the line for reference
Kid Win! Defeating his enemies with the power of super autism!!!!!!
I love this guy so much, designing his little gadgets and armor was so fun! I hope you enjoy it!
