Nothing makes me more mad than when teachers use AI. Way to tell me you know nothing. My fucking computer science teacher used the google AI shit last year for answers to his questions. What the fuck?

every time i see people arguing over the morality of ai, and it’s always always some arbitrary speech about human creation and the purity of the human soul or some shit and I’m just standing here like. you know there are other problems with ai than your own self-righteousness, right? AI data centers are directly contributing to pollution. they’re deliberately placed in marginalized areas where the community doesn’t have as much control over what big corpos do, BECAUSE THEY ARE DRAINING THEIR POWER. they are sucking up drinkable water from communities and the “recycled” water is unusable. they’re racking up people’s electricity and power bills. they’re harming people’s jobs and livelihood, not just in the artistic spaces.

It honestly annoys me a bit that people call generative AI for AI. I love AI. Basicly anything can be AI. A simple script that controls a slime in a game. That's AI. A chess engine. That's AI.

AI is basicly just code we projekt some personality on. Give that code googly eyes and now that's AI.

Anyways. Fuck generative AI.

I hate hate HATE the fact that every time I see a pretty landscape/house design photo or gorgeous piece of art that my immediate suspicion is that it’s AI. Even if it’s not, it reduces my enjoyment just having that in the back of my mind
