Demonology is political. I stay loyal to Baal if no one else will.
Rewriting my guides, because the community needs a real disruptor between the liars, and let's escape the 9 to 5 together, I got you.
I originally wanted to focus on writing my guides and I was too busy, just way too much.
A beginner medium guide.
A guide on how to read tarot for yourself without immediately needing spirits, demons involved, because honestly, if you do not have abilities or experience yet, maybe you should not jump straight into spirit contact. But does anyone actually tell beginners that? No. So I will.
I was also writing a guide about contacting demons as teachers, because most people only know spirit work through aesthetics, so called worship, altars, and devotion posts from people who have probably never even spoken to the spirit they claim to serve with the spirit not even knowing they exist. Do not worry anymore, you found your safe place here if you are still reading
And yes, I said it. I say it again.
I was even working on a guide about leaving your nine-to-five behind too as a demonologist. And no, I did not forget about that one either. I know a lot of people feel trapped there, probably more than want to admit it.
But while I was writing all of this, despite already being incredibly busy, things started happening that I genuinely did not expect.
One of the biggest realizations was understanding how political spirit work actually becomes once humans get involved.
Nobody talks about that part. And they burned Baal in TV, out of context, they blame demons for everything bad in this world. I was in shock.
People talk about kingship, power, rebellion, devotion, transformation, but when real things happen in the world, suddenly everybody goes quiet. That silence changed something in me.
And honestly, I never liked most occult communities to begin with, this one neither. Too much performance. Too much fantasy. Too many people recycling systems they never questioned in the first place.
For a while, after everything that happened recently, I genuinely thought:
Maybe I should stop writing altogether.
Maybe nobody wants to read this anyway.
But then I remembered something.
I am still a priestess.
And weirdly enough, everyone here around me kept reminding me of that too.
So now I’m reworking everything. Because what’s happening in the world belongs in these conversations just as much as reevaluating old grimoires does.
And maybe there is a younger version of me somewhere reading this right now.
Someone who feels disconnected from the scene. Someone exhausted by the performance. Someone wondering if everyone else is pretending too.
Because when I was younger, nobody wrote guides like this for me.
I know already this blog will look chaotic, but the secret is continue, rearrange later. People prefer honest over perfect.
Yours,
Doris.
