The story in this au takes place after the ending with the pantheons. Ghost becomes the God of the Gods and together with Hornet and Hollow builds a new kingdom on the ruins of Hallownest - Skybyss. So Ghost becomes king.
However, due to the Ghost's activity as God of Void, the void itself (which source located not only in Hallownest) became more active. That was dangerous for kingdoms which placed beside such sources. One of those kingdoms was Sparkland - a kingdom which is not so far from Skybyss.
The king of Sparkland waste so much time on how to prevent a catastrophe. He heard about the Pale king's plan of creating vessels because he once helped Wyrm with this. So Sparkland king decided to do a similar thing. That is how Yuf was created. He was given a weapon - crossbow Spark of light - that can destroy the void.
Yuf destroyed that source of void, which is located very close to Sparkland. However, one mystery bug tells him, that this won't help because the true void source - the King of Void is still alive and he's in Skybyss.
So Yuf decided to go to Skybyss only for one goal - destroy the true source of void.
That's how the story is beginning :"D

Yep, another drawing of my Hollow knight AU - King of Void. I made it as a crossover of Hollow knight and Crazy Germ ‘cuz the second one have a similar art style and main character looks just like a vessel! So I just can't pass by this cutie :3
