Or... Where Angels Fear To Tread aka @mottlemoth‘s wonderful AU fic, Excultus!
Excultus was a great fic to read time and time again and it felt just as good as reading any novel for me! (Of course, that’s me being a coward and taking a pause from reading les mis because of Hugo’s mid-plot history lecture but still)
Anyway, I asked in the Mystrade reading club server what their favourite moment in the fic was (cause if it was me, it’d be dead on Mycroft thinking he’d killed Greg angst or epilogue lol) and well...they mentioned Kit Medlock (getting her a faceclaim was a process of suggesting, sketching and voting) and Mycroft carrying Greg so I hope I pulled this off!
And damn right I will make this look like a film! My brain gave me film vibes while reading the fic so my brain gives me film visuals while doing this I have no regrets whatsoever.
