Hey guys! It’s my birthday today and I’ve been telling everyone that a great gift would be to donate to this awesome no-kill cat shelter and rescue near my city! I’ve had several great experiences with them and many of my friends have adopted wonderful and well-cared for rescue cats from them as well. They take in strays and feral kittens and even ornery temperamental abuse victims and go the extra mile to ensure they go to homes where they receive extra love and care.  I’ve been to this place and it’s literally one nice old lady who does this all from an extra building in her backyard in a little country community. All the cats get play time out of their generous enclosures and there’s happy kittens and cats running around everywhere under your feet. She relies entirely on donations and volunteer help.  Pet Patrol is a Registered Charity and all money goes directly towards veterinary costs for the cats. Check ‘em out and share the link! Flixbus to offer bus service between Kitchener-Waterloo and Toronto Pearson airport | Globalnews.ca

Flixbus has announced that it will soon run buses between Toronto Pearson International Airport and Kitchener-Waterloo three days a week.

For those living in Waterloo Region looking for alternative methods of getting to Pearson Airport and Toronto, Flixbus has announced that it will soon be providing transportation between the international airport and Kitchener-Waterloo.

The German-based company says buses will run between Waterloo and the airport three days a week with the only stop along the way being in downtown Kitchener.

The buses will make two return trips to Toronto on the days they are scheduled to run.

On Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, the buses will leave Waterloo at 11:20 a.m. and 6:50 p.m., stopping in Kitchener 15 minutes later. They are scheduled to arrive at Pearson Airport about 80 minutes after leaving and continue on to Union Station where they will make their final stop.

A spokesperson for the company told Global News that the current schedule is designed for students and weekend travellers. [...]
