SeaShell Grant Mr. Muffin Needs Your Help! I rescued Mr. Muffin in 2012 when he was 2 years old, and we have been best friends ever since. I
Today at the vet we discovered a mass in Muffin's tummy. Please consider donating for my birthday next week. If you do not wish to donate, please share this fundraiser. My heart aches more than it ever has before and I need all the help I can get. Even just sending some loving, healing vibes Muffin's way is received with the deepest gratitude. Thanks friends.
Hi. Hello. I’m asking for help. My cat has had a cyst on her shoulder for a while now and we need to have it removed as it has gotten bigger. Sometimes they go away on their own but that hasn’t been the case for Peaches. It’s a $200-$400 cost for the removal and although my boyfriend and I have decent paying jobs, it’s just a lot at once. I just want to get our fur baby back to good health, so if anyone is able to help us out, we are extremely grateful.

Thank you

@mostlycatsmostly would you be willing to boost this post for my sweet tuxedo kitty? Many thanks 💖💖💖
Beware the cat scammer!
Beware! There is someone (or someones) going around saying that they need financial help for their cat. If you look back at their profile, you'll find that it's only a couple of hours old (but they have reblogged 40 posts, mostly old stuff, to make it look established). If someone created their profile only four hours ago and is asking for money, they probably aren't legit.
It says something that the recommended hashtag when you type in "Tumblr scam" is "kitty help."
Ornj is helping.
I was going to send this on snapchat but I thought that might be weird. Did Jiji have trouble transitioning from being an outside cat/stray to staying inside? If he did, how did you help him along? I have an outside kitty that's now an inside kitty and it's really hard on him. We're going to make a safe place for him to be outside but until then, I hate seeing him so restless and sad. 😿
it was definitely difficult for the first few weeks to a month, especially cause he was still a kitten. but him being a kitten was also good, because it made him forget about the outdoors quicker (opposed to a kitty who has had years outside).
what you have to do is just play with them a lot. i know that might be inconvenient, not a lot of people can just take an hour or two out of their day, but it will tucker the kitty out. you have to make the indoors look as, or more so appealing than the outdoors. if you’re just leaving the kitty to it’s own devices it will get bored and restless and crave all the birdies outside.
get some catnip and toys, or if you can’t afford any, just tie a shoe lace onto the end of a wooden spoon or something. kitties LOVE stalking their prey. run around the house with it. make them still get the exercise and stimulation they’re getting from outside.
luckily now jiji plays all by himself and doesn’t need me much anymore, and he has forgotten about the outside. now when i open the door he looks at the outdoors like ‘ew… it’s so cold out there?’ and he has no desire.
just have to make your home fun for the little baby. maybe if you’re able to, get your fur friend another fur friend to play with?
i hope it goes well! also just remember, i know you’re feeling sad because your kitty is mad, but you’re doing them a favour. the average life of an outdoor cat is 3 years. the average life of an indoor cat is 15-18. you’re doing a good thing!
....and we are still well short of our goal. If we can't pay, they won't give us our cat. Please help, if you can't donate, please share...
A friend of a friend needs help for covering their kitty’s medical bills. If you can, please donate so that Sirius can go back home :-)
