“Vintage Estes Park log cabin offers main level living and all the quaintness of a 1940s cabin.”

This gorgeous Tudor in New Hope, Pennsylvania was built with a European flair even though it incorporates many distinctive, thoroughly American, artistic features and decorations. The “lodge” part of the home was begun in 1929, but the whole building wasn’t completed until 1949.
Just look at the Great Room. Isn’t it stunning? Love the balcony going around the upper level.
This is how it incorporates other designs- it has a wonderful Inglenook and the tiles above illustrate the story of Rip Van Winkle. How fabulous is that?
I think that the railing has a Bavarian, rather than a pure Tudor design. Really, I think the most Tudor style part of this house is the exterior.
Hate the island. The green counters are great, but that big plain box sticks out like a sore thumb.
The banquet sized dining room seats 18 and has a signed mural on the walls, done by a local artist.
The post on the stairs look Art Deco.
Upstairs are multi-leveled rooms and beautiful arched doors.
Then, up here, they have Grecian columns done in tile and they’ve put in the year construction was started and the year it was completed.
This bedroom is a warm knotty pine, which is interesting b/c it’s more of a rustic look than Tudor.
The bath also has a rustic look with the choice of tiles. Love the color of the sink.
This room has a gorgeous stone fireplace. It’s used a bedroom, but it may have been originally meant to be a family room.
This bath with a small shower has a more Tudor look.
Two more knotty pine bedrooms in lodge style.
The bath looks like it has the original plumbing fixtures.
This is the newer part of the house that was completed in 1949 and looks like a small added on apt. It has a cozy living room.
Adorable green country kitchen.
Plus a bedroom and bath, so it must be a rental apt.

When I tell my friends that AHS slaps 💀
The best moment in cinematic history is Jessica Lange clumsily stumbling through a shitty house outraged and yelling about “Knotty Pine!!” In American Horror Story: Coven.
