its a cheat day for me since i didnt have time to draw, but i LOVE Kokuto, so i repost my arts from 2022. its been 4 years already so nobody should remember now haha

anyway, i hate Kokuto ‘twist’ in the middle of the movie. i this its sucks, its cheap. we literally have same thing with Gingo. i would like movie so much more if we would have Kokuto not as a ‘bad guy stuck in a place for bad guys’, but as a ‘redeemed bad guy’ or ‘good guy who ended up in bad place by accident’

You guys know how Tabata got inspired by Bleach for some of his Black Clover characters? Like there are obvious ones like Ulquiorra-Zenon and Nnoitra-Jack

But I just had a flash about Kokuto (From the Jigoku Hen movie) and how similar he and Rades seem in design !! like, tattered clothes, one sleeve, gloves, bracelet/shackles, bandages all around the head with some silly tufts of hair sticking out

i just wonder if that's a coincidence or if it's also a reference 🤔
