LU Koridai General Headcanons

Wanna start writing for this guy because I think he might have genuinely become one of my favorite Links, but he only belongs in comedies. If he got into a fight with a villain from the mainline games he would only win through a hilarious Rube Goldberg machine series of Milo Murphy-like events Word Count: 497

This Link has no idea what’s going on 99% of the time, but he’ll do his best! Everyone around him (not from his universe) is constantly mystified that he’s not dead.

Some of his tools might also baffle the other Links. I’m taking the tutorial as canon, meaning every time he wants to talk to someone, he hits them with his sword.

The group has to coach him out of the habit.

Explosions don’t damage him unless he gets hit with a few very specific pieces of shrapnel, so he sometimes blows himself up and just walks it off. Wild’s magic bombs in particular are fun for him to use because there’s no debris, just the explosion itself, so Koridai doesn’t need to worry about any injuries at all.

He is so, so cringe. The other Links get second-hand embarrassment from him, and he never seems to notice.

Says ‘golly’ unironically.

Probably incapable of feeling embarrassed, honestly.

He’s got a reputation of being a big flirt for asking girls to kiss him, but he actually doesn’t know what comes after that. Dating? What’s that???

I don’t think he ever expects to get kisses. He gets rejected often enough by Zelda, at least, but in his mind it just never hurts to ask.

Miiight be a bit socially unaware of the culture surrounding asking for things. In his mind, if you want anything, even if you know the person probably won’t give it to you, you can still ask. Doesn’t understand if people get upset at him. He gets that being asked over and over would be annoying (like Zelda’s annoyance at the kiss thing) but if it’s just the one time why are people upset? They can just say no???

Reacts to getting kisses the same way he does when receiving anything else. “Wow, thanks :)”

Big appetite. He can and will eat triple the amount of food the others eat. He’s not greedy, and he’ll definitely share if asked, but he might ask for something in return.

Will absolutely pick random things up off the ground with no regard for if he should or not.

It seems like he just lives in the palace with Zelda and the king, but he’s not very settled-in. He mostly just crashes on their couch and goes places they tell him to.

He’s actually not weird-looking, it’s just the animation style of the games. (Hyrule isn’t a bundle of pixels, after all.) Pretty much everyone can agree that he’s cute in a way that would make old women give him things. Think less like-like cute and more parental instinct inducing cute.

Speaking of, he mostly resembles Legend with a lot of Hyrule mixed in, but with much blonder hair and somehow even fluffier bangs.

The color of his clothing sometimes just changes. He never notices and will act confused if anyone points it out.

I think he has lips similar to Sky based off of the header image and nothing else

Anyway for those who clic on more hi 👋 so i did something for 3 days, I draw on my laptop, and I draw something that could happened in my au. What au you're asking? Well with the tags that might be obvious xD hm ^^" ok anyway. It's a scene that going to happen in a fic i'll wrote when i got the courage to watch a let's play about the game again without being this close 🤏 to throw my phone.... this close 🤏

Also i also like to precise something I used some bases to have the characters position right i admit it, and i wont lie about it. Drawing on my laptops chracters is hars especially with a pencil? (I dont know how it's called in englidh sorry) that clearly see the end of it's life twice... --" the point is so flat it could compet against my desk TvT.

the rest is my work and my gosh it was horrible for the stone walls, the moon, and all that crap. I'm also going to put the base here so you can see for yourself....also please have mercy --" on poor little me. I dont draw that well, reason why i used bases for the characters.

And here's the final result ^^" it's not perfect but i like the result. Also i like to precise before it does polemics or i dont know what crap. My oc, even if from the downfall timeline (not if koridai can be place on that line but like an alternative version of Legend/the veteran. I kinda considered it that way for some reasons --") anyway. My oc, got gerudos blood in her veins(that goes from her alternative version Lynn too) reasons why she got some clothes like that. It's one of the few stuffs she got reminding her of home when it's not terribles things. She (well they in a way) originate from a village near the borders of Hyrule in a desert zone, her parents were nobles, the lands being their until they got ride of Lyss (the alternative version Lynn manage to escape. Lyss is the "what if, she couldnt escaped that day?" Of Lynn) so yeah a few gerudos descendant living there with their partners blablabla. I also like to point out that the gerudo blood is from the father :3 (i let you all cook with that)

Anyway! I'm getting distract in blabla probably no one is going to read anyway ^^". So here's the drawing!
