Hi! I’m Bee or Star—either will work. I’m a linked universe blog! I’ll be doing fics/headcanons and whatever else seems fun lol

I do have a few rules, uhh I dont write nsfw or yandere, or anything that deals with suicide, and I’ll very scarcely do pregnant reader or rough mental health issues and stuff if such asks occur, im not very comfortable doing those.. I also don’t do romantic asks for Wind, considering I’m, well, not his age or very close to such.

Also! Please know, if I don’t do your request, odds are I have no idea how to do it and I don’t want to write it badly 😅 sorry

I’m also an infrequent poster. I write when I have spurts of creativity or I’m just really into LU. 🫢

I’ve been playing ukulele for a few weeks and I’m getting the callouses on my fingers and I’m just thinking of the members of the chain that play stringed instruments. How they have so many scars from battling, but then you see and feel the musical scars. The scars and callouses on their fingers from doing things they really enjoy. The way a guitar falls perfectly into the bend of their elbows, the scars around their cuticles from strumming guitars or lyres or harps. The scars from an instrument loved so well, because for a little while the links get to be gentle, get to smile as they play and sing.

The Veteran's crooked fingers that come not (just) from arthritis, but from stretching and strengthening to hold his cello as gently yet strongly as possible

The Sailor's perfect, delicate, unconscious arm swing that always bottoms out at the exact same spot so full of grace

The Old Man's resting hand's position that are curled to accommodate an ocarina between their grip

The Rancher's legs that don't feel right until they're crossed to prop up a guitar in his lap

The Skyloftian's unconscious head tilt, like he's listening to something cradled inside his arm

The way they all look at themselves sometimes and wonder what would have happened if they didn't pick up their instruments, didn't make song a part of their being in such a way that it changed their bodies with their souls

The way they all agree that if they hadn't, life would have been worse for it

Eeeeeveryone talks about Sky’s reaction to seeing what Wild fuses/does with the master sword in botw/totk, but no one talks about how much grass you cut and how many rocks/walls you hit in Wind Waker. I’m on my first play through of WW and I have cut so much grass and hit so many walls and rocks while TRYING to cut grass in this game. I would love to see a comic of Sky somehow finding this out and confronting Wind😭

Hey did we all just forget the ringing??? You know, the ringing in threatening shadows pt. 1

For one, I’m concerned cause it’s legend(I’m always concerned when something has to do with legend) and two—I’m just concerned in general because I think it’s been brought up another time but we haven’t heard anything about ringing recently. I could just be reading too far into something that’s already been explained and I just brushed over (it’s 2 AM on the dot and I’m rereading) but,,,, if anyone has any explanations/theories I wanna hear em!

The only further information about the ringing (as far as our knowledge goes!) is in the LU discord 2023 QnA with JoJo, where its implied the ringing is a (future) character

We personally havent seen it be touched on any more than this though

If your requests really are open, can I very selfishly request some more courage/'80s cartoon link? Mayhaps with him playing particularly goofy, to hide how incredibly nervous he is while he's trying to rescue reader from a trap or even his own Gannon? I like to think that a large portion of his silliness is all an act, and he's constantly just a little bit terrified that things are going to go horrifically wrong (I may or may not be projecting). There's just very little written about him at this time, and I would like more.

Yeah for sure! I’ll get to this asap, I’ve just been very busy with uni, but it will get done! I actually have a 80s Link x reader coming out fairly soon, so be on the lookout for that!

It’s so interesting. Like looking at him, I see wars, time, ledge, wild—it’s so cool to me. Idk if that was Jojo’s intention, but if it was, she hit the nail on the head there. I also finally see the appeal of First. I see what you First-thirsty girlies are seeing now.
