So like is it canon that theirs two rings from the phantomhives???

*cough cough* sorry I need to disclaim that I don’t know if this has been mentioned or not.

Anyways is it just me or does Undertakers ring match O!Ciels ring sort of.

It makes me feel like it could have been husband and wife sort of if Undertaker was with Claudia(maybe she gave him the ring) or Undertaker could be a ancestor from the Phantomhives 👀👀👀 or the ring just holds no significance. XD

“The Blue Candies”

So 139th chapter of Kuroshitsuji told us the last little details about making the contract and its terms. We still don`t know the real name of our!Ciel but we`re pretty close to it, I can fell it at the tip of Sebastian`s tongue (almost literally because now it confirmed canonically that the demon know the name and I think the fact of that will be really important for the end of the story).

So when I saw the frame with our!Ciel closing the eyes of real!Ciel with his hand I realized instantly that it looks really much like the frame with Sebastian closing the eyes of his master the same way from the Noah Circus Ark (chapter 29):

It made me think something over. Both our!Ciel and Sebastian have stolen their own “blue candies”: the boy took away the ring and demon - the real!Ciel`s soul.  But it`s also god damn important that they both are still stealing: our!Ciel`s living his brother `s life by his name (well, he did until recently), the demon is going to “steal” our!Ciel`s soul.

And let`s not forget the one of the main statements of the contract: the demon will serve his master until the lies become truth. Our!Ciel`s considerable lie is that he`s not Earl Ciel Phantomhave, but his soul is the real coveted meal for Sebastian. So should he become the real one in both ways for the end?

I haven’t felt like rambling about a Kuro chapter in a while, but chapter 138 made me appreciate OC even more -- if that’s even possible lol 

His family was murdered, he saw the corpses of his parents, he was kidnapped and sold to a bunch of perverted cultists, he was emotionally, psychologically and physically tortured by them, and he watched his twin brother die without being able to do anything to help. 

BUT he still had the strength to calmly sit down and discuss a contract he is about to do with a demon with his brother’s corpse hanging above his head and a bunch of dead people around them. 

This little 10-year-old is so strong, honestly.

Yana could have skipped this whole chapter because we already know all of this, but she didn’t. This chapter seems to be a reminder for the readers of what OC agreed to. I think the contract will become relevant again soon.

RC’s return not only turns Sebastian’s statement into a lie but compromises OC’s goals to get his revenge. At least, to some extent. Sebastian already tried to claim OC’s soul in the Green Witch arc because he wasn’t “serious” about his revenge. OC can’t simply change his mind along the way. He needs to keep going and RC’s arrival might delay him a little bit.

My theory after ch 129

Note that I’m mumbling this at 2 am

1.Sebastian / demons did burn the mansion (Referring to anime kuroshitsuji II when Claude confront drunk ciel and asking “who do you think that killed your parents and burn the mansion” thing

2. The cult is demon praiser summon demon to burn the mansion , to abduct the children of phantomhive because they need sacrificial lambs

3. Undertaker of course so mad then,,, if he is truly Vincent’s dad , and gonna revenge vincent on the demon, in this case Sebastian. And yea we did see that undertaker truely hate Sebastian and sebby himself feel a hunch that he shud be aware

Unanswered : 1. The manga/anime (forgot)did mention that grim reaper born from those who commit big sin in their previous live .. So what if undertaker did something he regret in his past live

2. Undertaker cannot do anything for vincent rachel death maybe because he was unsure about revive-ing dead people or don’t have that ability yet. but the next time he saw the next soul he need to take (which is the real ciel) that urge him to at least save the real ciel for greater good in the future. Maybe real ciel was his first succesful experiment on dead bodies .

3. Perhaps it is forbidden for grim reaper to do that, that’s why undertake went rogue.

4. Also I think grim reaper born without memories of their past . but I THINK UNDERTAKER FELL IN LOVE with Claudia which is a Human (it is prohibited that’s why he went Rogue) and that just erase the grim reaper side of him that brings the memories back bit by bit and he went rogue to find the further answer

5. I think at the end undertaker just want to revive Claudia, Vincent , but he couldn’t because he was too late OORRR were a failed experiment , Since our ciel was too late to be saved too since he contracted the demon so he only got real ciel left.

6. Can’t really figure why undertaker use real ciel to “save our ciel” maybe there is something behind it that can freed our ciel from Sebastian

I know its bittersweet and sorry if these just random thoughts at 2 am in the morning hahahaha

Conclusion : its just undertaker vs Sebastian at the end (?) Maybe can be more complex grim reaper always hate demon right
