As someone who just discovered the “improper use of axii” tag, I’d love to know what you think of it and it’s potential? You have such delicious takes on our Witchers that I immediately had to know what you thought
Hello!
I have very very good (and bad!) thoughts about using Axii to it's full, beautiful potential.
There's so much there - lots of fluff/whump options with Geralt using it to calm his bard from panic attacks and helping Jaskier to sleep BUT THE MORE IMPORTANT PART (hi, we're about to branch into NON CON) is absolutely a darker Geralt using it to keep the bard soft and submissive and pliant for him. Using it to take what he wants and leaving Jaskier disoriented and confused and sore.
(Is Geralt working through his emotions about the bard? Maybe. Or maybe he just wants and knows that he can have with no one the wiser)
I especially like the idea of it being used to keep Jaskier from knowing whats happening (there's an ask I've got about that right now that I'm very much in love with but need some time to write up proper). Just the whole thing about being able to manipulate the bard's mind into believing that nothing's happened, even if he has bruises and markings and a deep ache between his thighs that would suggest otherwise.
(I'm in a Lambert mood this morning and I think it'd be pretty lovely to have Lambert doing this to the bard and Geralt catching on and being furious about it - how does that end for them? I'm not sure yet, but I'd be interested in finding out)
I uh, hope that's the kind of potential you were hoping for! Also thank you so much for sending this and thinking my takes on our Witchers are delicious - I certainly thought so, but it's nice to hear ❤️
I'm trying to name all of my anons, so you get to be Axii Anon.
vesemir: honestly, lambert, do you even remember the ABCs of healing?
lambert:
lambert: a
lambert: bone...
lambert:
lambert: ...coming out of the skin is very bad?
keira: we need to distract the wild hunt
lambert: right.
keira: what are you going to do?
lambert: i'm going to kill them all. that oughta distract 'em.
lambert, very drunk: i don't know if you know much about space, but me, i'm a fucking master. ask me anything about space?
keira, equally drunk: is it big?
lambert: probably
Me: trying desperately not to be soft about that last post
Also me:
"Let me see your fingers, bard." Lambert says, taking Jaskier's arm by the wrist and bringing his hand up closer; his touch is surprisingly gentle, "Does Geralt know?"
"No, I didn't --"
"It's okay, let's get you taken care of. You're safe here now. You're one of Geralt's, we'll make sure you're okay."
"But you said," Jaskier starts, his heart beating wildly in his chest - he wasn't expecting this kind of softness from the red-haired witcher, "you pushed me aside."
"Ah bard, the tough guy bit is an act. We're all softies here, you'll see. " Lambert pauses, drops Jaskier's arm and nudges him in the direction of the witcher laboratory, "Tell anyone and we'll have you killed though, appearances to keep and all that."
vesemir: we need to talk
lambert: that has never been true
Good morning to this picture of Paul Bullion specifically.
