@landinvader dies today.
Thank the stars for the planet’s atmosphere returning air to blow past her ears, for her mind would receive no rest from the launching trip from prison to Sarasaland. A bubble of red-hot hate foamed around every inch of her brain, clouding the inside and blocking the rest. When she got her hands on that little purple idiot, she wasn’t quite sure when she was going to let go. After all, his awful color scheme wouldn’t allow her to tell when he was running short on air. Though, in reality, she didn’t quite care whether he did or not. You know what they say, less is more.
The dart of cosmic blue broke the planet’s sky, an overview of Sarasaland seeming fine, luckily, calming her tense nerves if only somewhat. There were citizens around, different from the deserted desert Geno and her faced last time they arrived. No Daisy, either, and without an explicit signal to go off of, she had to hope Tatanga was where her mind pinned him at. The castle. The estimated location of any Queen, King, or Princess.
Rosalina bothered none with landing, carrying her rocket’s momentum across the surface, speed uplifting dirt and sand alike, heels shredding slits within the terrain, finally sliding to a halt. Right outside the castle. Shoes clicked across the pristine floor of the castle, noise resounding throughout, stopping and starting as maelstrom sights scanned each room she entered, swiveling on their point, searching. A horror movie monster turned from grace to disgrace, acting upon drive alone. No chamber was left out of the scour, yet it stopped on a dime when she found her target. Tatanga.
No thoughts, no contemplation. No hesitation. Tatanga would have mere milliseconds to react to Rosalina’s form teleporting for his backside, long leg kicking downward at his body. Regular cosmic enhancers were blue, star-speckled. Only red traced her powerful limb’s unruly attack, striking with a meteor’s ferocity. He would go flying across the floor, hopefully against some wall, leaving an indent against the surface if she kicked hard enough.
She didn’t bother with her wand, instead hands doing the job alone and extending, gravity holding him, throwing him upwards toward the ceiling. Another gremlin-sized indentation for the castle, some debris trickling to the floor. Oh, how she wanted to see him writhe for his hubris, but eyes sent for their leave, turning away. She hadn’t forgotten his special little talent just yet.
“You’ve a crime against the universe and you will pay your dues.” Voice slick with malice, guttural and croaked, she waited for a response before deciding to continue her assault. Speak, she dared him, she wanted to hear what plea he could make. A dollop of humor would be lovely right now.
From on top of a building, a small ginger girl looks upon the chaos in Diamond City...
“D-Diamond City’s a mess...a-and I c-couldn’t do anything about it...”
Her left hand held the hilt of her blade loosely as she tried to find where the source of the disaster. Unfortunately this destruction caused much confusion and panic...so finding who done it was tough...outside of floaty beings.
...Were the floaty being behind it?
“...I-I have to do something to stop the b-baddies!”
❛ AH! This is starting to resemble one of my soaps. Oh, how exciting~! ❜

Curses! Rosalina was catching on quicker than he had hoped! He watched as the barrages of explosive projectiles weaved through them. They could no longer risk attacking them, for fear of blowing them both off of the warpstar. The only thing they could hope to accomplish are some wicked fast evasive maneuvers, and even then, they were just barely scratching by.
What about Geno and Mario? Whenever he looked, all he could see is the Star Cruiser taking heavy damage, and Mario taking explosion after explosion until his tiny ship could not handle the punishment anymore. It was clear, they weren’t going to reach Tatanga like this.
He could hear him screaming over the radio - go to Tatanga. This is their only way - Kirby’s Warpstar is undoubtedly faster than both the star cruiser and sky pop, and the maneuvers it can take on help it squeeze by even the most difficult of Rosalina’s attacks. At this rate, they were the only lasting line of offense. Now the roles have changed.
He glances to his left at Kirby, and yells to him over the roar of explosions.
“We have to go for Tatanga! Leave them behind, they will distract Rosalina! We need to focus on breaking the hypnotism!”
she can’t shake the feeling that something isn’t exactly right in sarasaland... maybe it’s time for her to go back home; it’ll make her feel better to see if things are okay or not in person.
