Bandai Japan Sets Demon Slayer Tamagotchi Launch Date
When Bandai Japan officially announced the Demon Slayer Tamagotchi, Kimetsu, they did not give much more information of the launch rather than just the month of October, 2020. Fans were speculating when the device would be released, given that the United States set their release date for January 1st, 2021.
Bandai Japan has officially set a date! The official launch date of the Demon Slayer Tamagotchi is October 17th, 2020! Now if you already have the Kimetsu pre-ordered this may not come as a surprise as we are sure the retailer has informed you recently. However if you are not one for pre-orders then you should be able to find the Kimetsu on shelves and readily available online starting on Saturday, October 13th 2020! Is anyone else super excited about this launch?
Happy Tamagotchi On Canadian Launch Day?
We still do not have any clear answers here. So here’s what we know. EBGames Canada still has the Tamagotchi On listed on their website with a release date of July 10th, which is 18 days earlier than the July 28th date Bandai America has given us. Since earlier this week the Tamagotchi On preorders on the EBGames website have slowly started to disappear, meaning the device is no longer available for preorder since the release date is near.
A few Canadian fans have reached out to us to provide us the little information that they currently know at this time about this release date. One fan, mauro tr explains that they went to EBGames today, and asked about the release date of the Tamagotchi On. They were told that July 10th is actually the “soft launch” and that you could purchase one on that date onwards. The fan also goes on to explain that they have not been notified about the status of their Tamagotchi On preorder at this time via phone.
We are going to stay on top of this and see what happens, but we would be so excited for our Canadian fans to get their hands on the Tamagotchi On first! They have had their fair struggles with getting their hands on the newest Tamagotchi in the past.

The Nissan Magnite, a popular subcompact SUV in India since its launch in December 2020, is gearing up for its first facelift. While it has received minor updates over time, car enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting a more substantial refresh. Recently, a partially covered Magnite facelift was spotted undergoing testing at the Bharat NCAP crash test facility, offering a glimpse of the potential changes. Let's delve into the details we can glean from this sighting and explore what the future might hold for the facelifted Magnite. Nissan Magnite Facelift Subtle Shifts Up Front: A Focus on Refinement The spy shot primarily reveals the front fascia of the Magnite facelift, suggesting a focus on refining the existing design rather than a complete overhaul. Here's a breakdown of the expected changes: Revised Grille: The current grille design might be replaced with a new one, potentially featuring a fresh pattern or chrome accents for a more premium look. Tweaked Bumper: The front bumper could be redesigned to complement the revised grille and potentially enhance aerodynamics. Updated Headlights: The spy shot doesn't provide a clear view of the headlights, but we might see alterations to their housing or the incorporation of new LED elements for a more modern appearance. While the L-shaped DRLs seem to remain unchanged in this glimpse, the facelifted Magnite could receive redesigned alloy wheels for a more dynamic stance. Additionally, updates to the taillights and rear bumper are also possibilities, although their details remain under wraps for now. A Peek Inside: Potential Feature Enhancements While a clear view of the interior wasn't captured, here's what we can expect based on industry speculations: Fresh Interior Trims: The cabin might receive new interior trim options, offering a different aesthetic and potentially elevating the perceived quality of the materials. Updated Seat Upholstery: A refresh of the seat upholstery is a possibility, introducing new materials, colors, or patterns to enhance the overall interior ambiance. Feature Upgrades: Adding Comfort and Convenience Beyond the visual refinements, the Magnite facelift might see some feature upgrades to stay competitive in the market. Here are some potential additions: Ventilated Front Seats: This feature, particularly sought after in hot climates like India, could be introduced to enhance comfort during long drives. Single-Pane Sunroof: A single-pane sunroof could be incorporated to provide a more open and airy feel within the cabin. Enhanced Safety Features: The current Magnite offers a decent safety package. The facelift could potentially see the inclusion of six airbags as standard, further bolstering passenger protection. Existing features like the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital driver display, and wireless phone charging are likely to be carried over. Powertrain: Expected to Remain Unchanged The powertrain options for the Magnite facelift are likely to remain the same as the current model. This means we can expect: 1.0-liter Naturally Aspirated Petrol Engine: This engine delivers 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque, catering to those prioritizing fuel efficiency. 1.0-liter Turbo-Petrol Engine: This option offers a more spirited driving experience with 100 PS of power and up to 160 Nm of torque (depending on the transmission). Transmission choices are also expected to remain the same, with a 5-speed manual transmission, a 5-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission), and a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) likely to be offered with the turbo-petrol engine. Expected Launch, Price, and Rivals The Nissan Magnite facelift is anticipated to launch in India by the end of 2024 or early 2025. The pricing is expected to start from around Rs 6.30 lakh (ex-showroom), which is competitive within the subcompact SUV segment. Upon arrival, the facelifted Magnite will continue to rival established players like the Renault Kiger (its close cousin), Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV 3XO. Additionally, it will face competition from the upcoming Skoda sub-4m SUV, making the segment even more exciting for potential buyers. Calling all off-road enthusiasts! The highly anticipated Mahindra Thar 5-door is inching closer to its launch, and new spy shots offer a glimpse into the mid-spec variant. This extended version of the iconic Thar promises to combine rugged capability with improved practicality, catering to a wider audience. Let's delve deeper into the details revealed by these latest spy shots. Mahindra Thar 5-Door A Mid-Spec Contender Takes Center Stage Our latest intel comes from a recent nighttime test run of the Mahindra Thar 5-door. While the camouflage does its job obscuring specific details, several key features become evident. Here's what we can glean: Mid-Tier Wheels: The test mule sported monotone-finished alloy wheels, suggesting this is a mid-spec variant. This differentiates it from the base model, which is expected to have simpler steel wheels, and the top-of-the-line trim, likely to boast dual-tone alloy wheels for a more premium look. Dual-Pod Instrument Cluster: A peek inside the cabin reveals a familiar sight – a dual-pod instrument cluster, similar to the existing 3-door Thar. This points towards the mid-spec variant focusing on a more traditional instrument layout, while the top-tier trim might offer a more modern, digital driver's display. Feature Expectations: A Balancing Act The Mahindra Thar 5-door has generated a lot of buzz regarding its feature set. While the exact offerings for each variant remain under wraps, here's a breakdown of what we can anticipate based on previous spy shots and industry insights: Tech Enhancements: The 5-door Thar is expected to boast upgrades in the tech department. A larger touchscreen (possibly a 10.25-inch unit) could be a welcome addition, offering improved infotainment capabilities. Comfort and Convenience: Features like a single-pane sunroof, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror (IRVM) could elevate the driving experience for both the driver and passengers. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS): Some spy shots have hinted at the potential inclusion of ADAS features in the top-tier variants. This could encompass functionalities like lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring, enhancing safety on the road. Safety First: A Priority for Mahindra Safety remains a top priority for Mahindra, and the Thar 5-door is expected to carry forward the legacy of its predecessor. Here's a breakdown of the anticipated safety features: Airbags: Expect up to six airbags to be offered, providing comprehensive protection for occupants in case of collisions. Electronic Stability Control (ESC): This feature helps maintain vehicle control during challenging maneuvers, particularly on slippery or uneven terrain. Parking Sensors and Cameras: Front and rear parking sensors provide valuable assistance during parking maneuvers, while a rear view camera offers improved visibility when reversing. Higher variants could potentially include a 360-degree camera for a complete surround view. Retained Safety Features: The Thar 5-door will likely inherit proven safety features from the existing Thar, such as traction control, hill descent control, and seatbelt reminders for all passengers. Powertrain Options and Performance Mahindra is expected to retain the tried-and-tested powertrain options from the 3-door Thar for its larger sibling. This includes: 2.0-Liter Turbo-Petrol Engine: Delivering a potent mix of power and performance, this engine should cater to drivers seeking a thrilling off-road experience. 2.2-Liter Diesel Engine: Known for its efficiency and torque, this diesel powertrain could be ideal for those prioritizing fuel economy for long journeys. Transmission Choices: Both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions are likely to be offered, allowing drivers to choose the option that best suits their preferences. Power Boost on the Horizon?: Reports suggest that Mahindra might offer a power boost for the engines in the Thar 5-door compared to the 3-door version. This could translate to an even more exhilarating driving experience. Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and Four-Wheel Drive (4WD): To cater to diverse driving needs, the Thar 5-door is expected to be available in both RWD and 4WD configurations. RWD offers better fuel efficiency and is suitable for everyday driving, while 4WD is ideal for tackling challenging off-road terrains. FAQs Q: What are the key differences between the mid-spec and top-spec variants of the Thar 5-door?
