Ah, this one should be fun. Alright, we already know how these posts start off. I’ve been accused of lying about my ADHD. “You are simply lazy and refuse to do what you are being asked to do.”

-What ADHD Actually Is- ~Difficulty maintaining relationships ~Depression ~Inability to focus even if there are no distractions ~Poor sense of time ~Forgetting to eat, sleep, go to the bathroom ~Executive disfunction ~Trouble focusing on things even if they are of interest ~Hyperfocusing on unimportant things ~Poor impulse control ~Trouble regulating emotions ~Difficulty switching tasks or struggling to stick to one ~Forgetting thoughts .2 seconds after having them ~Auditory processing disorder ~Losing items relentlessly ~Fidgeting ~Excessive activity or restlessness ~Poor planning ~Trouble coping with stress
ADHD also includes- ~Mood disorders ~Anxiety disorders ~Learning disabilities ~Other psychiatric disabilities
To make this *even more interesting*, here are some complications linked to ADHD- ~Poor school or work performance ~Unemployment ~Financial problems ~Trouble with the law ~Alcohol or substance misuse ~Frequent accidents (such as car accidents) ~Unstable relationships ~Poor physical and mental health ~Poor self-image ~Suicide attempts
To remind you, the purpose of my blog is to spread awareness for mental illnesses and promote stable mental health. I have 1. Researched my facts and 2. The mental illnesses I have blogged about. If I do not have the mental illness, I will still spread awareness about it, but I cannot give an in-depth description for I have not experienced it myself.
