So, regarding that ask about why the Lycanroc did what it did, was the death an accident then? Like it attacked too quickly or was too rough or something like that? Or is that spoiler territory?

On the lycanroc's part, what it did was intentional. But there was a reason for why it suddenly became so aggressive, which we'll find out in the upcoming comic

Ok, I want to first of all say that your Roaring Cherry Blossom AU is super cool and I think it further shows that Sakura was killed in the original game because she'd be too powerful otherwise /lh /silly /gen

Anyways, I had a thought regarding Remnant Imposter as a boss. I believe they'd be a mind fuck boss, at least in universe due to their ability of being able to pretty much perfectly impersonate someone + their intelligence. If they're taking strong hits from Sakura and feel like they're at about just under half health, they would most likely bail for the time and change strategies. Sakura would definitely chase after them only to lose them temporarily. And that's when she the Imposter impersonating Kenshiro (Sakura would be a little skeptical, but not enough that the Imposter can't fool her) and when her guard is at it's lowest, just straight up punch her in the chest/gut as hard as possible and claim any love and positivity they had was a lie. At this point Sakura would obviously know it's the Imposter, but I think these words might still hurd Sakura. The finishing blow for the fight would probably be a very strong hit on the back of the Imposter's head that knocks them out cold.

TL;DR: A boss fight between the Ultimate Imposter would be a mind fuck because the Imposter is smart and halfway through the fight would run off and pretend to be Kenshiro in order to mentally and emotionally hurt Sakurac

Ahh the Imposter fight. Despite possibly being the last remnant boss, I haven’t written a solid description for it yet since lots of things could change if the plot changes beforehand…..

In this game, Imposter is the leader of the remnants. While Nekomaru is the battle commander and is seen more often, Imposter handles the intel and tactics. 

Your idea is great! The concept of Imposter being a strong mental and physical battle is really what I was going for too. I just think it’d need some setup:

Despite their best efforts, there would come a point where Imposter will be the last remnant left (besides Izuru) and Future Foundation/Togami corp would have found and enclosed the building where they hide. The building would likely be a military base and have a deep, underground bunker. Sakura would enter from the top and find that lots of the first floors have caved in and there’s a mess of rubble that is easy to get lost in. One thing that remains consistent on each floor, though, is that there are lots of broken mirrors and dust/fog that would cause you to start getting hallucinations and false alerts like the level before the Mahiru boss. 

If Imposter can’t beat you on equal grounds, the best they can do is skew the playing field, right?

Sometimes one of these mirrors would actually be a window where Imposter is behind, taking the likeness of someone close to Sakura and talking to her like if this was all still in her head. Maybe they would even become remnant Sakura, “fighting” her by trying to make her remember the awful things she did in that state.

As for more specifics the actual boss battle……good question. No doubt they would be trying to attack where Sakura would mostly likely be weak (insecurities/worries about her friends) but Its hard to say what the “arena” would look like in the end.

I'm about to get on my soap box and say that Spongy is way overhated and if anything, deserves the same reputation Leafy has. Leafy is both highly loved and highly hated. And here's the thing: Spongy did something similar to what Leafy did (him leaving his teammates when the lava was coming after them was his version of Leafy stealing Dream Island) and what he did wasn't as bad as what Leafy did. Death is an inconvenience at most (not the ways people can die) and he he didn't leave until his teammates had a way to leave. Leafy stole an island that Firey won fair and square and was fighting for for a long time because he was a petty asshole (BTW I should mention that I don't think the Firey and Leafy is complicated and no one was 100% a victim)

Spongy was also a little more justified in his actions as there was definitely anger built up due to the amount of bullying he's endured over years and his teammates seemingly not knowing anything anything about him, which would upset anyone, especially someone who has lacked friends over the years

And I'm not saying Leafy isn't complex or doesn't deserve the love she gets, but Spongy deserves the same love she gets due to the similarities in their arc. The only difference was that Spongy's arc wasn't given nearly enough attention as Leafy's

Sorry for the possibly nonsensical ramble. TLDR; I think Spongy deserves the same love Leafy gets
