It would not surprise me in the least if we find out that Pink Diamond’s leg ship was made that way specifically because Pink decided she wanted to be like extra rebellious and ridiculous with her ship. 

Like, she’d try to argue some bullshit reasons why it would totally make sense to pilot a ship with your legs or some shit, but Blue and Yellow know she just thinks it’d be fuckin funny and different from theirs. They just side-eye each other and are just like ‘fuck it, just let her have the stupid legs, I don’t have time for this.’
