Redraw of an over-decade-old drawing I did on my previous account!

The original piece, posted on June 5, 2015 had been part of a challenge where I had to choose my favorite Mega Evolution. Ten years later, I can confidently say that that remains to be Mega Gallade despite already seeing new Mega Evolutions crop up as we approach the release of Legends AZ.

For those who don't wanna read my original, the idea was to combine Mega Gallade and Aegislash's powers to push the knight image even further. Aegislash partially possesses Mega Gallade's consciousness which results in Gallade's change in eye coloration, and the latter's psychic powers protect him from being fully controlled by the ghost Pokemon. Gallade's abilities are further amplified, making them a terrifying foe to face.

I recently spotted the old piece in the wilds, on at least two wallpaper websites that had clearly stolen my artwork for clicks. But it was so old, there was no reason for me to do anything about it, so instead, I decided, "hey, why not just redraw it? It's been ten years!"

And so I did! There's something about seeing how far you've come in terms of skill when you redo old work after enough time passes and I am really proud of the final result!

Side Quest Spoiler for LegendsAZ Below

For those of you who have played Legends AZ and gotten a certain side mission done.

And follow this account.

You might notice I really, REALLY love the colour pink. One of the many reasons I’m a mew obsessive.

And I also really love sheep.

Particular Wooloo and Flaaffy.

I’ve played soulsilver several times and each time I get a Flaaffy and never evolve it.

In my SCVI games I have a team of 6 shiny Flaaffys because I love Flaaffy that freaking much.

When I STARTED AZ I did a brief stint to shiny hunt a mareep to see if I could get some early luck beacuse again.

I. Love. Pink.

And I only evolve my Flaaffy’s if I can get them shiny, (usually- sometimes I still won’t cus that pale pink goes so hard with that green bulb) but in this game we get Mega Amphorous so I WANT that bugger shiny.

SO THERES A QUEST THAT GIVES YOU A FREE SHINY FLAAFFY AND I HAVEN’T.

BEEN THIS HAPPY IN A POKÉMON GAME.

SINCE I SUCCESSFULLY HOT SHINY FLURRY IN POKÉMON EMERALD.

Anyways, that makes the majority of my team shiny! Shiny Skiddo, Shiny Litleo, Shiny Alpha Fletchling, and now Shiny Mareep

I also got a shiny pidgey (ty Austin John plays for that AFK method, still gonna try for that shiny alpha Litleo tonight) but unlike Pokemon Ash AU’s I am not a pidgey obsessive

But don’t tell him it’s gonna be a gift for him ;>
