Obi-wans story genuinely kills me every time I think about it. Like what do you mean he had every possible reason to fall to the dark side and never did because the light was truly binding him to who he was? Just to list a few of the completely life altering moments that would've ended any of us if we were obi-wan are his master passing in front of him and having to kill the first sith lord in 1000 years, the love of his life Satine dying in his arms by the sith lord that was supposed to be dead by his hand, His padawan turning to the dark side and him having to "kill" him, Obi-wan finding out Anakin is still alive and his Darth Vader the evil sith lord, breaking vader's mask and seeing Anakin for the last time fully in his face, not knowing if any of the other Jedi survived order 66, living alone in exile on tatooine for years, having to watch from the sidelines as his Padawan and dear friend's children grow up, and finally dying by the hand of his Padawan to protect Vader aka his padawans child. Like I'm sorry but if I was obi-wan I would've been gone in seconds after qui-gon died.
