Chelsea v Leicester

Trust the process.

Chelsea seems to have finally gotten their act together as they won an astounding match against Leicester City.

It's safe to say that the Havertz slander should finally end; although I understand fans' frustrations when players seem not to match the potential we have seen them play at, Kai Havertz appears to be back into the groove the things. He is likely securing his spot at Chelsea again as the summer transfer period looms. When Chelsea needed him most he provided and that should be acknowledged.

Ben Chilwell is another player to who Chelsea owes all their loyalty too. Over the last three matches, I have not seen a single player lay themselves on the pitch (literally) as unwavering as Chily has. His goal at the 11 was just a tiny part of his effect on the team. His versatility sets up many of Chelsea's playing dynamics, as he works fabulously in left back and midfield. Both positions are the right fit for Ben, as he delivers the performance of a lifetime in each match

The newbies: Mudryk, Felix, and Enzo.

Mudryk embodies Chelsea's aura right now, trust the process. While he is young he holds lots of promise and this is a league he is unfamiliar with. Over time he can grow into a more assertive and dominant player, the investment Chelsea made in him was for long term goal fulfillment and I can not wait to see him flourish. As for Joao Felix it was a tough day for him with either missed shots or offside goals, he could not seem to catch a break. The final straw was when his miss handling caused Leicester to score their equalizer. However, one bad day does not make you a bad player and with the way he has played in previous matches it is safe to say he was having an off day. Hopefully, by the next game, he will be back in business. Enzo was not a buy Chelsea messed up on. He plays phenomenal soccer and is able to make lengthy cross passes that open up our attackers possibilities for scoring. Without him, the game would not have tied; his mentality on the pitch is refreshing and definitely has changed the way.

I do wish we got to see more of Ziyech on the pitch these last two matches, but I could be a little biased. He was a great player at AJAX and to waste his potential by sitting on the bench would be heartbreaking. On a better note, it is nice to see Pulisic finding his way back into the premier league dynamic (I think we all saw him get a little shoved during the Dortmund match)

The team is finally coming together, win lose or draw the chemitry is visbale on the pitch and that is all we can ask for.
