Alicia and the Kingdom of Starlight: Leo and Leo Minor Redraw
Here's a little redraw of a drawing I did years ago. Anyways, when @pinkiemachine was asking for artists to help with her indie Wish rewrite film called "Alicia & the Kingdom of Starlight", I wanted to be involved and maybe draw some animal characters (particularly ones based on the real world constellations that could talk and inhabit the kingdom of starlight), but I never got reply, in other other words "I was unworthy to join" (it's a good thing I was in another Wish rewrite group). Enough of the history, let get started, these here depict the residents of Etheria (The Starlight Kingdom) here named Leo and his son Leo Minor, their the actual constellations, and their talking lions, their father and son duo are very similar to that of Mufasa and Simba from The Lion King, so what do you think, leave a comment down below.

Active Collision
Leo Minor
You'll have almost certainly heard of the constellation of Leo, one of the 13 constellations the Sun passes through (Ophiuchus being the 13th sign of the Zodiac you probably haven't heard of), but there is also a constellation called Leo Minor (the little lion).
Stars
The brightest star is Praecipua (46 Leonis Minoris), an orange giant star on it's way towards a red giant phase and is located 94 light years from Earth. The star also appears to be travelling faster than most stars around us, although this "high proper-motion" is due to the star following a different orbit around the galaxy.
β Leonis Minoris is a spectroscopic binary, meaning the system consists of more than 1 star, but they orbit so close together, the only way to know there are multiples is by looking at the spectrum of light emitted and decoding it. As it turns out, it is visible slightly at the extremes of it's orbit. Both stars appear to have began to move out of main sequence, but are still yellow and white/yellow in colour holding masses of 3 and 2 times that of our sun.
21 Leonis Minoris is the only star still in the main sequence, a A7V (white star), it's noted for it's very fast spin and variability of Cepheid type
The star regularly shrinks and grows, slightly changing it's surface temperature as it does, changing the spectra that can be read from it.
10 Leonis Minoris is an aging G type (yellow) star that is also a variable star, however the cause of its variation in brightness is caused by interactions with a very close binary partner, causing the star to periodically create giant sunspots which reduce the brightness of the star temporarily.
Deep Space Objects
Leo Minor has a huge amount of Galaxies for such a small constellation, far too many to add here, although you can find a list here

NGC 3344 is a beautiful slightly barred-spiral galaxy, 22.5 million light years away and part of the Virgo supercluster of galaxies.
NGC 3486 - an Active spiral galaxy, 27 million light years from Earth, and part of the same supercluster group.
Leo Minor may be a small and unfamiliar constellation, but it packs a punch when it comes to deep space objects and is a very interesting part of the sky, although a reasonable telescope is needed to view the deep space objects, as they are from magnitude 9 upwards.
