weighted blanket. thats it. 

Sleeps with her back against the wall at all times. She cannot sleep any other way. 

Soo touch averse except with people she’s close with, in which case the opposite + helps her ground herself in reality

the chip in her neck helps with her fucked up vision probably but her vision is still not great (she has learned to cope with it but it contributes to the fact that she’s not great at everyday things such as reading)

light sleeper + wakes up a lot + routine nightmares

copies mannerisms unconsciously in everyday life, not just combat moves

Hates the grocery store (too many people + overstimulation) like she can and has gone on missions just to avoid going with Lera to the grocery store. She has technically killed people over this

Bad at reading. Like she can do it but she rarely does, partially because of her getting pulled out of school and partially because not great vision

Compares herself to a computer (ie “Oh I can not do that, I am not programmed to.”) and Lera is very unhappy with her for it. 

She & Lera have a special way of holding hands because RHBD can come with difficulties recognizing faces and she and Lera don’t necessarily talk out loud all that much so it helps to be sure that Lera is actually Lera

Can cook like 2 things only with one type of stove but she can cook those two things flawlessly every time

Not very imaginative → does not help plan things, she’s just along for the ride generally speaking

Cannot deal with multiple people talking at once most of the time bc it’s just too much at once 

Despite how “robotic” she is, actually the brain damage makes her emotions more intense, she’s just good at not reacting outwardly. 

Really good at driving. Drives around for fun sometimes just to remind herself that she can

Can barely detect tone (RHBD thing) so like. Sarcasm does not work. People think she’s being sarcastic sometimes because her tone is FLAT but shes not i promise ← that said, she often figures things out based on context clues and facial expressions

Incredibly goal oriented. Like tunnel vision. Objective must be completed. In missions but also like generally she can’t multitask at all

Only trusts Lera to patch her up if she gets injured because that’s just how it goes. (plus also doctor/hospital trauma because like that chip had to get put in somehow and I don’t doubt she had to get more surgeries to get her functioning semi-normally again after getting blown up)

Y’know how people have sensory issues with turtlenecks? The opposite of that. There’s no reason for this one I just think she’d like turtlenecks

For a chunk of time she wore a glove on her right hand so she wouldn’t have to deal with looking at the scarring on it but Lera finally got her to stop doing that

Not a fan of mirrors. Like really not a fan of them.

Watches shows like magic school bus because they have a lot of science put simply, which she finds helpful since she stopped going to school in like grade 3

On that wavelength, she does her best to learn things like math and science whenever she can but she rarely tries her hand at anything creative since her imagination is literally damaged (this is why problem solving is harder for her)

Cat person

Does not do traditional reading but very much enjoys audiobooks.

Yelena got her an audiobook subscription

Communicates more using sign language than her actual voice.

Partially deaf on her right side

Most people who know her know to move to her left when approaching her so they don’t startle her (her first instinct is to attack them)

Repeats people’s sentences to understand what they’re saying better, usually internally, because she tends to get odd looks, but on worse days out loud as well

Did puzzles for a while just to exercise the problem solving part of her brain bc it doesn’t work properly and now she’s really good at them and does them for fun + it has drastically helped her problem solving skills
