Had a blast yesterday looking through the Perth Lesbian Archive collections of buttons, records, magazines, books, clothing and more! There is so much lesbian history and culture out there to explore and enjoy. I'm grateful to help record them with the amazing group of lesbians at the archive. I think my favourite thing is the lemon shirt ^^

A network for Tumblr users to talk about their favourite queer ladies (real and fictional), queer headcanons and more!

How the Group Will Run:

Will be a private blog with password access

So far no themed posting days have been planned but if the group wants it we can make some

Will just be a place to talk and meet new friends

Possibly going to have live-streams where we watch shows or movies together but I live in Australia so time zone differences

Requirements for Membership/Code of Conduct:

Must be willing to use the trigger warnings other group members require

No homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, ableism, any other form of prejudice or bullying will be tolerated

Don't have to follow all members but pls at least check out everyone's blogs

All sexualities and gender identities welcome!

Joining the Group:

Must complete this survey

Don't have to be following me but it would be nice

You will be messaged and I will tell you if you have been chosen or not

Group will start with about 10-15 people but more may be added

Group will only run if enough people (10 at least) apply

UPDATE: The first 15 members of the group have been announced and all inboxed. I may add more members in a couple weeks though, just didn't want to start off with too many people.

Remember when I tried to make a Lesbian Yellow Pages? Well, I deleted it. I replaced it with a network. Those in the Lesbian Yellow Pages who are following this blog were automatically added to it, and all I wish is that they would place a link in their blog that would link back to the network.

What in the world is a network?

A network is a portal of sorts. It helps link together blogs which are related in some form. The idea is that it can help tumblr users find blogs similar to ones they already follow. This only works if the member blogs include links to the network on their blog. It should be such that from one blog, a tumblr user could click a link to the network, click a link to a new log, and click a link to the network again. The idea is that one would never have to type in an actual url. Generally being in a network increases the visibility of the blog and should increase the numbers of visitors to your blog, and hopefully the number of followers. (-networkthemes)
