Five days until the boy’s first birthday... how is that even possible?!
I had my HyCoSy during the week and was very happy to find out that my tubes are officially open for business! We even saw a nice follicle developing and a decent lining. So we’ve been given the go ahead for IUI. We have arranged to have meds and covid tests delivered ready for my next cycle that should start at the end of this month - exact date pending as my cycle isn’t overly predictable! So it’ll probably be a mid-May IUI if all goes well 😁
We’re using the last vial of sperm from when we made our son, then after that we’ll take a break for a few months as we need just a bit more saved to buy the next lot of sperm. We’re just a little behind where we wanted to be as we had to buy me a new car in January when mine pretty much died, but we didn’t want to disrupt our baby making timeline! With this being our second, we already have most things we need for a baby, and we know our families will still want to help us out with gifts/money when they’re born- I wish there was a polite way to ask them to contribute to making the baby instead 😂 it’s certainly not cheap!!!
Excited/nervous for the month to come! Trying to tell myself it won’t work first time but there’s a part of me that can’t help but work out timings for baby #2 if it’s conceived soon 😬
