I just wish we could have a baby naturally. Like all I want is a baby but we have to go through all these treatments and I just wish we didn't have to. This sucks.

Keep trying guys.
Don't ever stop for something you want ♡
Well, we had an IUI on June 15th and now we have 3 healthy little babies!
Round 4.
Today was the day! Brett’s sperm count was stellar again... All extremely high numbers, as usual. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
My procedure was shockingly comfortable this time around! I had no cramping, which is awesome. The doctor also said there was a “nice amount of mucus” (🤢) in my cervix so I’m probably ovulating, which is the first time we have heard them say something like that.
Hopefully Brett’s little army will flood my happy little (big) follicles and make some magic! 😂 Sorry, if I don’t joke about it, I’ll go crazy.
Serial Symptom Spotter
I won't symptom spot...

*Sneezes twice*
Must get on Google! "Two sneezes early pregnancy symtpom"
😂😂😂😂
We underwent our second IUI procedure yesterday and I have to say, it went much more smoothly than the first.
I was throughly unprepared for our first. I hadn’t asked the right questions, and I had that pesky hope in the back of my mind.
Having never undergone the procedure before, I was totally thrown for a loop when the nurse asked me if my husband would be accompanying me into the room. To cover up my ignorance of the whole process, I quickly answered yes without giving it much thought. After all. we had done everything else together up until this point.
It wasn't until mid-procedure that it hit me. The reason they offered to have my husband in the room is so we can both be present when our baby is conceived. And that’s when reality sunk in, this is all just so clinical. I was robbed of yet another experience other couples get. I had lost my choice, my will, my control.
Maybe it was this realization, or the incredible amount of hormones surging through my body at the time, but I could start to feel tears streaming down my face. As much as I told myself I was being silly, or to get a hold of myself, I couldn't gain composure. My husband (thinking I was in pain from the procedure) just gave over and gave me the sweetest kiss on the forehead. I felt embarrassed and angry, I’m normally not a crier and I tried so hard to portray nothing but strength and determination during this whole journey.
But, I’m proud to say there were no tears shed during our second. My husband was present again, but this time our wait afterwards was filled with laughter instead of tears. The mood was much lighter, but in the back of my mind I could still feel that same pesky emotion that was present during my first. No, not the loss of control, I was already over that. Hope. Maybe this time will be different, maybe this will be the one . . . can't say this is going to be an easy two week wait.
IUI #2
Negative.
I know we’re early into our journey- and it’s only the 2nd IUI- but that doesn’t make me feel any less defeated and upset right now.
It sucks.

We lost our baby girl in September due to some pretty serious health complications. We are trying to navigate the world without her but it’s a day to day struggle. We’re also trying to raise more awareness for pregnancy and infant loss.
