Found some baby photos!!

She was a very protective mom.

This was taken a few weeks after she was first brought home. She did NOT trust me at all yet and wouldn't let anyone near the babies.

She only learned to trust me more after her babies got older and began exploring the home and would always come to me to play.

It took a couple of months for her to settle in and realize that no one was going to hurt her or take her babies away. She was used to only having a few short weeks with them before the breeder would take them away from her.

I was very committed to keeping them all together. I didn't want to re-home the boys when they were older and just be another person that separated her babies.

I think once I'm out of training and I have room to keep more pokemon, I wanna see if I can track down any more of her kids.

Also an important note: Do I have intentions to ever breed Crescendo? No I don't. So please don't ask.

I had her spayed a couple years after getting her. At an exam it was found she had some problems with her reproductive organs and they needed to be removed or she would get really sick.

Hello Rotomblr!

My name is Lethe! I'm 22 and currently studying to be a Pokemon Ranger. I used to work for my dad but after a lot of contemplation I decided it was time for a career change and to live for myself.

Currently in Goldenrod City, Johto, studying to be a Ranger.

[ ⚠️ Warning ⚠️ I do plan to broach the topics of animal abuse/neglect. Roleplaying as a ranger will involve rehabbing abandoned/abused pokemon so feel free to mute/block my account if these topics are triggering for you.]

I discovered my love for pokemon after rescuing a Shiny Umbreon and her 2 babies from a breeding mill. They are currently with me also in training to become certified Partner Pokemon.

I traveled a lot as a kid, never staying in one place for very long. My goal is to become an Area Ranger and buy a large ranch property for all my current and future pokemon.

Got accepted to a Ranger Cadet Program, but the housing paperwork for a lot of students got screwed up this year apparently so I'm stuck sharing a room with my very grumpy nerd roommate who doesn't like pokemon. Wish me luck because I'm going to need it lmao.

Current Pokemon:

Crescendo ♀ : A shiny Umbreon, came from a shiny breeding mill, mother of my other two Eeveelutions, Alto and Gibson. She's very guarded around new people, always vigilant, but cares deeply for her children and other pokemon, especially younger ones. Currently training to be a certified Ranger Partner Pokemon.

Alto ♂ : An Espeon. He takes after his mother a lot, though he is more sociable than her. He's a bit of a clean freak, he enjoys his spa days where he gets to have a warm bath filled with bubbles. Currently training to be a certified Ranger Partner Pokemon.

Gibson ♂ : My very silly man. He's a Leafeon. He evolved by running face first into a mossy rock. He's very outgoing and lovable. Unlike Alto, he enjoys making a mess and rolling around in the mud and hates baths. Crescendo makes him take them. Currently training to be a certified Ranger Partner Pokemon.

After sharing that old photo I thought I'd share a happier more recent photo of us out on a walk. Left the boys at home since it's been a while since I went out with just her.

She likes to perch on my shoulders.

Had a pretty cool class today. They had us partner with an operator to do a city wide scavenger hunt with the operator guiding us.

The operators were given vague directions and landmarks and we basically had to work together to find each checkpoint. Not every group was given the same directions and they were all scrambled that you had to find them each in a certain order to have it count, this way you couldn't just follow someone else around and mooch off them.

It's a pretty cool exercise though I almost had an incident where I walked into a part of the radio tower I wasn't allowed into lmao.
